Course Information
This is the last course of Microsoft Excel specialization. You will build on the strong foundations of the two Microsoft Excel courses: Microsoft Excel -Essentials and Microsoft Excel – Intermediate. In the Advanced course, we will equip you to become a power user of Excel – this is your last step and from this point, your specializing at a professional level would be well underway. You will be challenged to use advanced formula techniques and sophisticated lookups. You will clean and prepare data for analysis and learn how to work with dates and financial functions. An in-depth look at spreadsheet design and documentation will prepare you for our big finale, where you will learn how to build professional dashboards in Excel. This course is targeted towards middle level to senior managers/executives willing to learn advanced techniques to convert data into actionable information.

Advanced Data Manipulation Techniques
- Avoid typing a column index number in VLOOKUP by combining VLOOKUP + MATCH functions.
- Say good-bye to VLOOKUP and hello to INDEX + MATCH for two-way (matrix) lookups, as well as a right- to-left lookup
Methods of Summarizing Data
- Data Consolidation by position
- Working with INDIRECT to consolidate data from multiple worksheets.
- Conditional aggregation with multiple criteria (SUMIFS, COUNTIFS & AVERAGEIFS
